We are a national organization that trains and licenses directors to establish local programs across the country. We aim to build self-confidence, discipline, character, and etiquette in today’s youth. Through NLJC®, students learn to treat others with honor, dignity, and respect-skills that foster stronger relationships with family, friends, and future colleagues. Along the way, they also practice the art of ballroom dance, blending timeless traditions with lifelong social skills.

Charles Winters II and Jenna Winters have a deep-rooted passion for teaching etiquette and manners, inspired by Charles’ parents, Charles and Anne Winters. The National League of Junior Cotillions was founded in 1989 to instill confidence, courtesy, and social skills in young people nationwide.
We strive to honor Anne’s legacy, emphasizing kindness, character, and social education. We are excited to teach modern manners and everyday etiquette, positively influencing our lives and families.
Jacksonville Junior Cotillion is the local chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions®, created to help students develop confidence, character, courtesy, and social ease through etiquette instruction and ballroom dance.
Students in the eligible grade levels for each class are welcome to participate. Families in Jacksonville and surrounding communities may register based on class availability.
Registration is completed directly through this chapter page. Choose the appropriate class for your child’s grade level and follow the prompts to enroll online.
Students learn introductions, conversation skills, respect, gratitude, dining etiquette, social confidence, and ballroom dance, all in a positive and encouraging setting.
"A Confidence-Building Experience That Extends Beyond Middle School."
"Whether it was knowing how to dine properly, communicate with college counselors, impress a homecoming date with my proper etiquette, or simply knowing which side to place my nametag for college receptions, the Junior Cotillion has had a very positive impact on my life and the lessons I have learned from Junior Cotillion will most definitely be life-long."

"Growing in Confidence and Grace."
This program is about so much more than dancing and table manners. Junior Cotillion helped my children develop strong conversation skills and feel more comfortable interacting with others. Their experience was both fun and meaningful, and we are truly grateful to NLJC for helping our children navigate social situations with confidence and ease as they grow into young adults.
